Jarvis came from Houston, Texas to Howard University to study jazz. It was here where he was picked up by DuPont Brass. An upcoming jazz trombonist in the area, Jarvis is also a big fan of Afro-Cuban and Electric Dance music. Jarvis is the youngest of four siblings, and he is the only to continue with his career

in music post high school. Hooper plans on becoming superintendent of his former school district to continue

to share his wealth of art. He felt deprived of music in high school and does not want this to continue to happen with future children. His solution: open a performing and visual

arts school.
